The overall vision of our ministry is to spread the gospel through the planting of theologically-driven and missions-minded churches in Madison, throughout Wisconsin, and to the uttermost parts of the world.  The city of Madison, WI, is the home of leaders with a leading university.  Our prayer is that God, in His kindness, would allow us to reach these leaders whom we could disciple and send out as future church planters and missionaries throughout the globe.   We desire to see the gospel transform lives, families, businesses, the University of Wisconsin (www.wisc.edu), the state of Wisconsin, and beyond.

 

 

Our mission is to be a body of believers who is faithful to what God has called us to do.  A major element of being faithful is to tell the lost world of their need for the Savior.  As individuals come to faith, it becomes our joy to teach them the truths of Scripture.  This mission is motivated by a deep love for God, His Word and a love for people.

 

We are a group of believers that believe in God’s Word and are passionate for the gospel.  We have a strong conviction that the gospel should be central to all that we do and is more than sufficient in all areas of our lives and ministry.

 

As we live our daily lives it is our desire that all who are connected with our ministry to understand how to apply the gospel in every given situation.  The gospel is not to be a concept learned in church but a truth lived out.

 

The more we are convinced that the gospel is the power of God for salvation, the more we will be willing to share the Good News of Jesus with the unbelievers who are in our lives.  We yearn to be a community that is like the prophet Jeremiah that has God’s Word burning a fire in our bones that we cannot but help but share.  It is of utmost importance to us that this gospel fire would drive us to desire to spread God’s Word to all peoples of the earth.

  

We believe that one of the great blessings God gives a believer is a community of believers.  Our community time will be a time where believers can share struggles, praises, and desires.  By creating a gospel-centered community, the group can challenge, exhort, and pray for one another as they go through life.

 

As a body of believers we are living in a city that does not love our gospel or our values.  However, it is our desire to have such a love for Madison (www.cityofmadison.com) that we are not a group that casts judgment but rather salt and light.

 

God has given every believer gifts, talents, and abilities.  We aspire to learn what each individual’s gifts are and put them in positions to us their gifts.  Nothing is more exciting for a believer than to see God use him for His glory.

 

We have a great love for the local church, but we also have a love for God’s universal church.  It is important for us to not be in competition with other churches, but rather we want to be a blessing to other evangelical churches and ministries in the area.  We believe it is a great picture of the gospel for believers working together for the cause of Christ, even if they do not meet in the same location on Sunday mornings.

 

While we believe one church can have an impact in a community, we realize that one church cannot reach everyone.  It is of great value to us that not only do we disciple future leaders with God’s Word, but we also equip them with a simple church planting model that they can reproduce.  We long for our community to send out many workers into the harvest, all for the glory of God.
